This is a gorgeous mother of pearl rosary bracelet from which hangs a silver look crucifix, with the inscription "Jerusalem" on the reverse. It comes in a little gift box.
Background: What is a Rosary: A rosary is a string of beads, usually containing five sets of ten small beads separated by a larger bead. This rosary bracelet is made of a chain of 10 beads (a decade) with a silver-look cross.
They are used primarily by Roman Catholics to assist them when saying special prayers. The rosary is used to count the prayers. There is usually a crucifix on the rosary.
The name Rosary comes from the Latin "rosarium' meaning "Crown of Roses."
